Edge Art Station

-- Sweet tea addict, Elder Scrolls nerd, artist with an incurable addiction to ass --

EdgeArtStation, EdgeArt, or just Edge. I draw a myriad of things, though I mainly draw character designs (both fanart and original characters, moreso the latter). I have a particular affection to aliens and nonhumans, though I also draw human characters (sometimes), furries, robots, and eldritch entities. My mind is an enigma.

ABOUT ME

Draws either unholy eldritch abominations or ass... whatever I'm feeling in that moment

he/him -- video game dev/artist/writer -- full time idiotDigital artist by hobby, the funniest man on Earth by trade. One of these is a lie.I go by EdgeArtStation, EdgeArt, or just Edge. I've been drawing for over 14-ish years now, starting on ol' pen and paper and eventually moving to digital art. Before getting a drawing tablet, I learned (through great trial and effort) to draw with a mouse. Nowadays I use an actual tablet so my lines don't suck ass (plus pressure settings are super cool).Nowadays, I occasionally draw, mainly whenever I get the motivation or time to do so. I draw a myriad of things, though I mainly draw character designs (both fanart and original characters, moreso the latter). I have a particular affection to aliens and nonhumans, though I also draw human characters (sometimes), furries, robots, and eldritch entities. I also game. I'm a gamer. I'm not good at it.Additionally, I develop video games and write. A lot of my art coincides stories I'm writing. I have a very nasty habit of writing out extremely fine details that have little to no overall significance... I just find worldbuilding fun. Eat shit J.R.R Tolkien. I can go extremely in depth with explaining my "lore" (as people have... found out against their will sometimes), and absolutely love talking about that kind of stuff. I'm working on shitting out a webcomic soon, so keep an eye out for that.Otherwise, yeah. I do art. I have motivation/confidence issues in my style (especially shading), and want only to produce things people like/want to see. As my attitude and mood constantly changes and I fight off burnout and demotivation, I will always constantly try to improve my art and produce more thing for your eyeholes to salivate for. Thanks for checking my stuff out + supporting me and my crippling addiction to ass.

Hobbies: Video game development, writing, art, drawing gigantic asses (artistically), playing video games (badly), the aryaFavorite Games: The Elder Scrolls (I actively play Online), GTA:V/Online, Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, Star Wars: Knights of/The Old Republic, Fortnite, Cities: Skylines, Sekiro

Commissions

I'll draw yo shit... for a price.... and if I like it enough. Please check my status on the main page BEFORE asking me about commissions

Check the main page for commission status. Commission slots come on a first come, first served basis.Commission slots, when available, can be claimed through email, twitter, or discord. If I accept your commission, you will receive an invoice which must be paid within 48hrs, or else your request will be terminated. I will not start on your commission until I receive payment. Larger orders can be paid in half (before starting and after receiving the initial sketch)Turnaround time will greatly vary based on queue, my availability, and external/personal factors. For full art, expect around a month to receive the finished product. You may request Work in Progress (WIP) updates for no extra charge.---All payments will be processed through PayPal, unless otherwise coordinated with myself (Patreon and Ko-fi are available, but please discuss prior)---Prices are in USD

When contacting me for a commission slot, please include:1. The commission type you want. Also include any extras too (i.e. complex background)2. Character information. Names, references, links, all the good stuff. The more references you have, the easier it is for both of us. If it's not your OC, please be sure to mention who they belong to and a link to their profile if possible. If it's from something else, please mention where it comes from. Gotta credit the right people!3. Descriptions of what you're looking for to help me get a better idea of what you want. This includes poses (pictures are very helpful), facial expressions, and backgrounds (if applicable). The more detail, the better.4. PayPal email for invoice

Please read my Terms of Service PRIOR to asking about commissions. By commissioning me, you are assumed to have read, agree to, and will abide by my terms. I retain right to refuse a commission request with or without reason (although I'll do my best to provide one)

OPTIONS

COMMISSION TYPES

ICON

Perfect for profile pictures! An icon is a sweet headshot of your character(s) with an expression/background color of your choice! Make all of your discord friends jealous of your sickass avatar

BUST

A bust is a shot of your character(s) from the chest up. Expression, pose, and background color(s) are up to you! Embody the lead image of a roman emperor's wikipedia page and show off those mighty chesticles

Thigh-Up

Show off your goods with a thigh-up shot, which is a pic of your character(s) from the waist/thighs. Expression, pose, and background is fully up to you!

FULL BODY

What better way to fully depict your character than showing them off in a full body shot? A full body, as the name implies, is a sickass image of your character head-to-toe. And of course, with your awesome character comes your choice of pose, expression, and background!

Other Styles

Normal art not GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU?!? Sweet, because I can also draw in other styles, too. This includes chibi, parodies, memes, and my (apparently) highly coveted MS paint shitposts. I don't know why I even offer this option, but fuck it, why not.

EXTRAS

Additional CharactersEach additional character will cost +50%, and +75% for fullbody/full shaded orders---Detailed BackgroundsComplex/Detailed backgrounds will vary based on order, but will typically run an extra +10%-+20%.---NSFWNot Safe for Work (NSFW) commissions are also available, and are the same prices as the SFW counterparts. However, prices may cost extra depending on what you're asking for. Please reference my Terms of Service to make sure I'll be fine with drawing what you want (or reach out and ask)NSFW commissions are 18+ for very obvious reasons, and you may be asked to verify that you are legally of age to view/order said content. There are no exceptions to this; if you are under 18 and you attempt to order an 18+ commission, you will be denied and blocked.---Alternate versionsI can draw alternate versions of your commission (i.e. different outfit, expression, etc), though this will require some discussion. Prices will greatly vary based on what you want. Sketches will generally be no cost.---Reference SheetsRefsheets have no set price and will greatly vary based on what you want and how much time/effort I will have to put into it. Refsheet commissions will also typically take longer and I may or may not be available to draw them. Please ask me about refsheets if you wish to commission me for one.

PRIVATE COMMISSIONS

All commissions, when finished, will be posted to my galleries. Your applicable username (i.e. your twitter handle, or preferred username) will be properly credited to your commissioned image. Character names will also be included, if provided. If you do not wish for the commission to be public, then you are able to request for it to remain private. However, private commissions will typically cost a bit extra. If you're alright with this, please bring it up while you're commissioning me (prior to payment) so I can make a note of it.If you are fine with the commission being posted but you don't want your name attached to it, you can ask for it to be an "anonymous" commission for no extra charge.

WORK IN PROGRESS UPDATES

As I work on your commission, I will send updates through whatever method you contacted me with (or any other method if coordinated prior). As I send these updates, you are free to ask for corrections for no charge. You will always receive an initial sketch for you to review.Prior to the completion of your commission, I will send one final update for you to review and request for any last minute corrections. At this stage, minor corrections are no charge, but large corrections may cost extra. If you do not want WIP updates, let me know. However, even if you don't, you will still receive an initial sketch and final draft for you to review.

TRELLO

My commission workflow is fully accessible through my Trello board. All commissions will be properly queued and logged through it, and everybody is able to view it. WIPs and the finished product will also be attached to the individual card. If you wish to view my Trello page to view my queue or to check on your commission, you may access it below (it is also accessible on the main page):

Terms of service

By commissioning me, you hereby agree to the following terms:---1. COMMISSIONING1.1) I retain the rights of the art itself, whereas you (or the original artist) retain the rights of the character(s) in the art. After you receive the artwork, you may distribute/post as you please, so as long as I am appropriately credited/tagged. You are not allowed to sell my artwork or pass it off as your own. Additionally, you may not use my artwork, regardless if it's commissioned or not, for monetary gain within prior approval from myself. All artwork, unless coordinated prior, is for personal use only.1.2) Character(s) or subject(s) that you are commissioning should be your own. If neither belong to you, you must have (preferably written) consent from the original owner of the character in order for me to accept your commission. Character(s) or subject(s) from official media (i.e. fanart) does not fall under this, but should be annotated as such when you're commissioning me so that I can properly credit the original creators.1.3) It is your responsibility to provide all details, references, and all other applicable information of your commission. Additionally, all provided information as previously mentioned should be verified as accurate prior to it being sent to me. This includes making sure descriptions are up to date and refsheets are accurate. If you need to correct anything due to a design change, please coordinate with me prior to the final product being finished. Furthermore, I prefer images for references over descriptions. I will accept both, however, text-based descriptions will likely cost extra depending on complexity.1.4) You may not heavily reference, edit, or trace artwork provided to you unless coordinated prior.1.5) Your commission must comply with topics that I will/will not draw (see the table below). If your commission falls under content that I will not draw, you will be refused service. If you are unsure as to whether or not I will be fine with your commission (and it is not explained in the chart below), please ask!---2. REFUNDS2.1) If I have not started on the piece, you may ask for a full refund. Note that this will remove you from the queue.2.2) If I have started on the piece, you may ask for a partial refund based on how much of the piece I have finished. You will receive a refund based on how much of the artwork has not been finished (therefore deducting from a full refund)2.3) You may not ask for a refund after the piece has been finished. Once the piece has been finished (denoted by what tier you have purchased and it being marked as "COMPLETE" in Trello), all sales are final. Attempted chargebacks will be disputed and you will be blacklisted and blocked. Additionally, the artwork will be repurposed.2.4) If a commission is cancelled by myself, you will be entitled to a full refund if you have already paid. If I have already started and I cancel the commission, paragraph 2.2 applies (you will also receive the unfinished artwork for personal use)---3. REFUSAL OF SERVICE3.1) I retain the right to refuse to accept your commission with or without reason, regardless of the circumstances of the commission or the client. I will do my best to provide a reason should I decline your commission request. Typical reasons include requesting a commission that I will not draw (see table below for topics that I will/will not draw), availability, or unavailable slots.3.2) If I decide to cancel a commission midway through working on it for any reason (i.e. learning undesirable details about your order), paragraph 2.2 applies. Depending on the reason that I refuse to work on the commission further, additional actions may be taken based on why.---4. CORRECTIONS4.1) You are able to request for minor corrections to the piece while it is still a work in progress (WIP). After the image is complete, you are not able to ask for any corrections whatsoever, unless the circumstance dictates otherwise.4.2) Regardless if you asked for WIP progress updates or not, you will always receive an initial sketch for your review. From here, you are able to ask for major and minor corrections to the piece in order to best align with what you want. The drawing will not progress until you approve of this sketch.4.3) After you have approved of the sketch, you are able to request minor corrections as I am working on the art (i.e. colors, minor details, etc.). I will provide an updated drawing to verify that your correction was properly addressed, and will continue to work on the drawing afterwards.4.4) After the image has been completed, you will be provided with a "final draft" for your review and approval. At this point, you are able to ask for any minor corrections for no charge. Larger corrections are possible for an added fee. The image will not be considered final until you approve the final draft. Once you approve the final draft, the commission will be considered complete.4.5) Correction fees are assessed based on the impact of the correction and the stage that the drawing is in. Major sketch corrections will typically be free unless stated otherwise, and full color corrections may be a moderate fee, again depending on the correction itself.---5. THE FINISHED PRODUCT5.1) Upon completing the product, you will receive a full-res, uncompressed copy of the image with a small signature. You are not permitted to remove, obstruct, or alter the signature(s) on the image. If you lose your full-res copy, you may ask for another. Paragraph 1.1 applies for how you may use your artwork.5.2) Public postings of your commission will be compressed at a smaller resolution and may have a larger signature with my social links (including patreon, ko-fi, and twitter).5.3) Full-res copies of the image may be made available on patreon/ko-fi, unless requested otherwise by the client---I retain the right to update these Terms of Service with or without notice. This list is not all encompassing, and I may use my own judgement should any situation arise that is not covered in these terms of service.
